standards
N. Dwarf
BODY: 30 points - Short, compact, cobby, full chested and wide shouldered devoid of raciness. Front legs short and straight.
EARS: 15 points - Erect, of good substance, well furred, slightly rounded at tips. Desired length 50mm (2 inches).
HEAD: 15 points -Round, broad skull.
EYES: 5 points - Round, bold, bright of good colour.
COLOUR: 15 points - Accept any colour so long as it conforms to the normal pattern of accepted colours of other breeds.
COAT: 10 points - Soft, short, dense, rollback. 
CONDITION: 10 points - Firm in flesh, good coat, free from any disease.
WEIGHT: (Note: for guidance, the weight of an ideal adult exhibit should be as near as possible to 0.907 kg (2lb)).

FAULTS: Narrow shoulders: ears not erect, bent or over length, narrow face, white hairs, white toe nails in coloured rabbits, ticking on shaded rabbits and black hairs in blues, fly-back coat.

DISQUALIFICATIONS: Racy type, crooked legs, odd coloured, wall or speck eyes, white patches, white armpits, putty nose, under 5months exhibit 0.9kg (2Ib or over) (but if the exhibit in the opinion of the judge is over developed for the age of the class it should be disqualified irrespective of weight) . Overgrown or mutilated teeth. Running eye(s). Not in a fit condition of health to be judged. Adult rabbits weighing 1.134kg (2 1/2Ibs) or over.
Miniature Lop
Type & Weight:  30 Points  - Bold, thickset and firm. The body should be short, broad and well muscled with little visible neck.  The well muscled rump is short and well rounded.  The chest is broad and deep with curved sides where it meets the shoulders which are broad and strong.  The front legs are thick, short and straight.  The hind legs are short, strong and powerful and are carried parallel to the body.  The tail is straight, strong and well furred.  A small dewlasp is permissible but not desirable.

Adult weight - Ideal adult weight is 3lbs4oz (1.5kg) and the maximum is 3lbs8oz (1.6kg). Maximum weight for under 5 months exhibits is 3lbs (1.36kg)

Head, Ears, Eye & Crown:  30 Points - The head is bold, broad and well developed.  The profile of the head is strongly curved with a good width between the eyes.  Full cheeks and a broad muzzle. The ears should be thick, broad, well furred and rounded at the ends.  They should be carried close to the cheeks giving a horse-shoe like outline when viewed from the front.  The inside ofthe ears shold not be visible from any angle when carried correctly.  The eye should be bold, bright and large.  The crown is the basal ridge of the ears and should appear prominent across the top of the skull.

Coat:  20 Points - The coat to be dense and of good length, roll back with an abundance of guard hairs. Legs and pads are to be well furred.

Condition:  5 Points - The exhibit should be in perfect state of health and bodily condition. Free from all soiling, particularly on the feet, ears and genital parts. The coat should reflect the overall good health of the exhibit, which should appear alert and vigorous.

Colour and Pattern:  15 Points - ANY colour or pattern accepted by the Breeds Standard Committee of the British Rabbit Council - except the Broken Pattern

FAULTS - Body too long; head not characteristic for the breed; pimpled or damaged ears; poor ear carriage; folded ears; crown not developed; fly back coat; large dewlap in does; rear feet not parallel to the body; soiled ears or genital organs; bare pads; fur slightly matted; long toe nails; lack of vitality.

DISQUALIFICATIONS - Maloccluded or mutilated teeth; over weight limit; deformaties and mutilations; deformation of the teeth; ears tipped over; feet bowed or bent; white toe nails in coloured exhibits; crooked tail; any discernible illness or disease; blindness or partial blindness; incorrect eye colour; any parasitic infestation; much soiling; matted coat; sore or broken pads; any evidence of irregular preparation for exhibition including trimming and dye.
French Lop
Weight:  .As large as possible. Minimum Adult weight 4.54 kg (10lb) No maximum weight for adults or under five months.

Type:  30 Points - Massive thickset and firm. The body should be short, broad and well muscled with little visible neck. The line of the back rises in a curve to a well muscled rump which is short and well rounded. The chest is broad and deep providing curved sides where it meets the shoulders which are broad and strong. The front legs are thick, short and straight. The legs are short, strong, powerful and the hind legs carried parallel to the body. The tail is straight, strong and well furred.  A small dewlap is permissible in bucks but is not favorable dewlaps larger in does.

Head, Crown, Ears and Eyes:  35 PointsHead: Well developed particularly in bucks. Good width between eyes. Full cheeks and broad muzzle are desirable.  Crown: The basal ridge of the ears should appear prominent across the top of the skull.  Ears: Should be broad, thick,  well furred and rounded at the ends.  They should be carried close to the cheeks, giving a horseshoe like outline when viewed from the front.  The inside of the ears should not be visible from any angle when carried correctly. The ears are not measured.  Eyes: Round and bright.

Coat:  15 Points -  Rollback, dense with plenty of guard hairs.  Legs and pads to be well furred.

Condition:  10 Points -  Condition to be firm and healthy.

Colour:  10 Points - All colours accepted as long as they conform to that of another recognised breed


Faults: Poorly muscled, lacking firmness, loose skin over hind legs. Body too long and/or too lean. Head not sufficiently characteristic of the breed. Pimpled or damaged ears. Poor ear carriage. Crown not developed. Fly back coat. Bowed or splayed legs.  Excessive white hairs in colored exhibits, white tail in sooty fawn and putty noses (excessive white hairs in nose and top lip).

Disqualifications: Adult weight under kg 4.535 (10lb). Malocclusion of teeth. White toe nails in coloured exhibits.
